All Dressed Up for Charity!
HiB Management and staff organised a charity fancy dress day on 5th December to support their chosen charities. From Father Christmas and his elves to Superman and Darth Vader, just about everyone got on board. In fact, such was the enthusiasm for the event, that a very impressive £2000, was raised. Staff – fuelled by pizza for lunch – donated £5.00 each to participate. And even HiB’s travelling workforce – from delivery drivers to sales representatives joined in – much to customer amusement. Fun-loving staff at HiB have raised over £2000.00 for Marie Curie and the Aspire Power Chair Club. Everyone from HiB’s warehouse staff and delivery drivers to sales and administrative staff got creative with their fancy dress costumes. left) HiB’s Area Sales Manager Andy Adams dressed as a Subbuteo figure collecting Charity. The money raised will be split equally between Marie Curie Cancer Care and a cause close to HiB’s heart – the Aspire Power Chair Sports Club. Said Captain Hook, alias Managing Director Robert Ginsberg, “We have all sorts of charity-orientated activities and events going on throughout the HiB year. But we were especially delighted with the number of staff that swapped their usual work clothes for fancy dress. “It was a great day for everyone that participated and we will be very pleased to send the proceeds to our two, nominated charities”
