Delivery Driver Fulltime - Tamworth Distribution Centre

We are seeking a driven, reliable individual to work in our Logistics Department. You will add value to a growing company where communication and vision is paramount. You will be able to work autonomously and part of an overall team to ensure delivery deadlines are meet in line with HiB standards.


Role Summary

You are an integral part of HiB, giving a daily contribution to making the difference to our customers overall experience . You will carry out professional and accurate multi-drop deliveries and collection of customer orders.

How you will be making a difference:

  • You be responsible to ensure all deliveries and collections are carried out efficiently and promptly in accordance with your route plan.
  • You will be flexible and adaptable to early start times, overtime and overnight stays when required.
  • You will be responsible in ensuring our customers end experience is aligned to HiB standards.
  • You will be responsible for all relevant delivery paperwork and will complete all driving records efficiently.
  • You will adhere to all Health and Safety practices and road safety regulations at all times.
  • You will ensure your vehicle is clean at all times and carry out daily maintenance checks accordingly.
  • You will actively assist with any additional duties where required and as requested by the Fleet Supervisor/Manager.

What you will need to be able to “do the job”

  • Be reliable, versatile with a “can do” attitude
  • Flexibility to carry out over night stay routes when required
  • Hold a clean UK driving licence
  • Have excellent time management when delivering products to our customers
  • A sound understanding of customer satisfaction, expectations and needs.
Operations Operative - Tamworth Distribution Centre

Why you are important

We are seeking a reliable individual to work in our Operations Department. Working as part of the team within our busy Warehouse, you will be an integral part of HiB, making a daily contribution to our customers Journey in providing support and structure to our Supply Chain.

You will add value to a growing company where communication is paramount. You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met in line with HiB standards.


Right stock, right time, right place!

How you will be making a difference:

Ensure H&S policies and procedures are always adhered to at all times.

Carefully unloading and checking packaging on in coming stock deliveries.

Carefully picking & packing orders for loading ensuring correct specifications are followed.

Palletising/organising products correctly ready for transport.

Ensuring orders are loaded safely onto delivery vehicles and dispatched with all required documentation.

Replenishing stock levels

Efficient Manual handling.

Operating handling equipment ensuring safety regulations are followed.

Maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping in all areas of the warehouse

Developing your knowledge of the processes of our WMS systems to make sure orders are booked in and out correctly.

Assisting your Manager with other tasks when called upon.

Quality and Sustainability Assistant - Tamworth Distribution Centre

We are looking for a highly motivated Quality and Sustainability professional to join our team. If you are looking for a new challenge and are ready to develop your career in a Quality and Continuous Improvement role within a company that puts its people at the heart of all it does, this is the role for you.

How you will be making a difference:

As a key contributor in the development of Quality and Sustainability Systems, You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring Product Quality and Compliance data is available, correct and up to date.
  • Aiding the development and deployment of company quality and sustainability policies, procedures, and standards internally and with our suppliers.
  • Review and report on CSR initiatives and progress
  • Using problem solving techniques to investigate quality issues with products.
  • Identifying possible root causes and working collaboratively to identify, implement, and manage corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Analysing data from a variety of sources and reporting on :-
  • Effectiveness and timeliness of corrective actions
  • Supplier performance KPIs
  • Sustainability programmes
  • Product fault reports
  • Working with the Product design team on new products, collating and reviewing product specifications and helping deliver a product to launch.

What you need to do the role:

  • Understanding/experience of Quality Assurance principles and approaches and experience of working within a ISO9001 quality system
  • Understanding of the requirements of Quality policies, procedures and product specification and able to produce them in clear concise formats
  • Ability to understand Technical Drawings / Specifications
  • Ability to form and maintain good relationships with suppliers and colleagues
  • Familiarisation with EN standards, CSR principles and regulations would be an advantage
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to think logically to determine and test possible root causes and solutions to a variety of problems
  • Ability to analyse and process data to produce reports and metrics.
  • Recognise and ensure that documents and records are completed and maintained accurately.
  • Confident working with Microsoft Office software especially Excel.
  • You should be happy to work independently and also as part of the larger team.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility – being open to change (positive and negative).
  • Dependability – being reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
  • Cooperation – being pleasant with others and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
  • Specific Qualifications in Quality Management such as Internal Auditing and Root Cause analysis would be a distinct advantage
