A charity which helps children and young people has been supported by leading bathroom supplier, HiB.
Lagan’s Foundation, which provides home care and respite for children with complex needs, particularly congenital heart defects or feeding issues, has received a donation of £5,000 which will help the charity to continue its work.
CEO and Founder Carren Bell and her team visited HiB’s Inspire House National Distribution Centre in Tamworth to meet staff and take a tour of the facility before officially receiving the donated funds.
Talking about the visit, Carren Bell said: “The trip to HiB was a great day. We were very warmly welcomed and it was lovely to meet some of the team and have a sit down chat with Laura and Steve. Everyone and I at Lagan’s are extremely grateful for the generous donation made by HiB, it has given us the chance to offer respite to more of our children supported by donated care packages.”
Funds donated to Lagan’s Foundation will go towards providing highly skilled professional carers to assist families with specialised child care so they can receive a short break.
Marketing Director Steve Kaye, who is a Trustee for the foundation, said: “It was fantastic to be able to welcome Carren and her team from Lagan’s Foundation to Inspire House to introduce them to the staff and raise more awareness of the work they do. The charity provides vital services to children and their families, ensuring they receive the important care and support they need at challenging points in their lives.
“I’m pleased that HiB has been able to donate the funds which will help the charity reach more families and those in need.”
