HiB has pulled out all the stops to ensure that staff feel protected while at work by issuing new branded face masks to employees. As part of the company’s initiative to enhance measures against the Coronavirus, HiB has supplied each staff member with a HiB face mask which they can wear while in the office, making deliveries or visiting showrooms.
The washable masks are the latest edition to the safety measures put in place as a result of the pandemic and have been branded with the company message ‘Making Bathrooms Beautiful Safely’, to reinforce HiB’s commitment to looking after staff and the wider community.
A number of other measures have also been implemented in order to stop the spread of the virus, including temperature checks, sanitiser stations, PPE and safety screens to separate those working at desks. Though all HiB staff are now back from furlough in either a full or part-time capacity, many of the departments are dividing their time between the office and remote working to ease numbers together at one time.
True to the company’s core value of caring for the community, putting the safety of the HiB workforce and retailers first, has been central to all decisions made during the phased return to work after lockdown.
Robert Ginsberg, Managing Director at HiB, said: “It is incredibly important that we provide all the protective measures possible to ensure that employees are safe when going about their daily tasks, whether in the office or out visiting retailers. The new face masks are a fantastic way of giving an additional level of protection while also sharing the message of safety first, that we are keen to promote.
“Over the past few months, there has been a focus on heightening health and safety measures to ensure that our sites comply with Government guidelines and I’m pleased we’ve been able to find solutions which allow us to continue trading while also ensuring the wellbeing of our employees.”
