HiB has welcomed Sophie Watts to the team as the company’s new Contracts Coordinator.
With a strong sales background behind her, including working for one of the UK’s largest shipping firms, Sophie joins HiB with an impressive portfolio and skillset.
Sophie will play a vital part in growing the projects and specification department, ensuring that all clients receive a seamless experience from start to finish. Sophie’s role also includes developing key business relationships with designers, buyers and commercial project managers, seeking out new opportunities and developing existing partnerships.
Commenting on her appointment, Sophie says: “I was drawn to HiB for its family-centric dynamic and inclusive environment, and I am delighted to have been appointed to the role of Contracts Coordinator. It’s fantastic to be working for a business known for its product quality, especially following its recent honour of receiving the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category, and I relish the opportunity to be part of the ongoing HiB success story.
“HiB is continuing to grow within the projects and specification sector, having established relationships with a number of prestigious projects which we hope will continue to flourish. We support a variety of different industries including property development, house renovations, the leisure and hospitality industries. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across the sectors and I am honoured to be a part of this team.
“Whilst HiB is renowned for its expertise in the bathroom mirror, cabinet and furniture arena – they are continuing to expand. Following the recent launch of HiB’s Accessories range, I am particularly keen to show off HiB’s unique design, flair and innovation as these items absolutely add a dash of personality to any bathroom. Accessories have always been an afterthought when it comes to the contracts market; however, we firmly believe that these small, yet important touches can make all the difference to an end user’s experience.
“I’m extremely passionate about my role and strive to deliver a memorable service every single time: from the moment that a customer makes their first enquiry, to after the goods have been safely delivered to their premises.”
Ash Chilver, Sales Director at HiB, adds: “Sophie has a wealth of valuable experience, and is already making an impact in her new role. By recruiting Sophie we’re able to continue growing our contracts and projects department and our reputation for innovative bathroom solutions, which is central to the future of HiB.”
