HiB has been named as a winner of the Lotus Award
for Workplace Culture, an accolade which reflects the brand’s long-standing
commitment to employee engagement and support.
The Lotus Awards recognise organisations that
foster a creative, collaborative workplace culture to enhance performance and
sustain a competitive advantage by improving employee engagement. This year’s
winners will be honoured at a glamourous ceremony held at The Scotch of St
James on 27 June.
HiB has long been known within the industry for its
unique culture. A dedicated Employee Engagement team nurtures this
staff-centric ethos daily, and ensures that employees are supported as
comprehensively as possible. This has included, for
example, the introduction of Mental Health First Aid Champions – specially
trained individuals who have been developed to identify, and support, any
members of staff who may be facing mental health challenges.
The company’s dedication to its
employees means that its employee retention rate is exceptionally high,
with over 35 per cent of staff having been a part of the HiB team for over a
