Low Energy & Maintenance Free Lighting

Four new fire-rated LED downlights from HiB which are suitable for over the shower enclosures as well as general bathroom lights not only ensure compliancy with the latest regulations but also offer the homeowner a fitting that demonstrates aesthetic style in addition to great performance. The sleek, low profile chrome or white ceiling lights suitable for installation over shower enclosures have low energy LED light sources that offer exceptionally long bulb life and can be specified either as cool-white or warm-white light projection. “There is no doubt that LED is the future for bathroom lighting,” comments HiB’s Marketing Director Steve Kaye. “Offering superb illumination, low energy consumption and enduring performance, they are available in cool or warm colours as preferred.” These LED bulbs show an 80% saving over a 50W GU10 bulb. The fire-rated shower downlights are both IP65 for safe use in the bathroom environment and the lights are dimmable.
