Royal emblem flies at HiB to mark Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation success

Staff at HiB gathered to watch as the Queen’s Award for Enterprise flag was raised to mark the company’s success in the Innovation category.

The Royal emblem, which now proudly flies outside the company’s distribution centre in Tamworth, was lifted into place by HiB Managing Director Robert Ginsberg.

Employees at the leading bathrooms supplier were careful to maintain social distancing guidelines during the event, which was also live streamed across the company’s internal communications platform for all remote working staff to see.

HiB Managing Director Robert Ginsberg said: “Achieving the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation is the result of a huge amount of dedication, creativity and determination from the whole HiB community across our 30 years. Seeing the flag on display at Inspire House was a proud moment for me and a fantastic achievement for all at the company.

“The award reflects the reputation that HiB has, not only as a leader of innovation in bathroom products but also our commitment to modernisation across the business, from customer service to operations and our corporate social responsibility.

“It was great to be able to share the moment with all our employees both in person and digitally using our internal communication platform. As we continue to navigate the challenges presented by the pandemic, it is great to be able to mark this wonderful achievement in the year of HiB’s 30th anniversary and begin the next chapter of the company’s history.”
